Born in 1975. Nikolaj Znaider is an internationally acclaimed violinist. He is a very recognised artist who has been highly awarded for his quality of tone, virtuosity and his rich and nuanced musical expression. He has studied with some of the world?s greatest violin teachers, including Milan Vitek at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, Dorothy DeLay at l?Ecole Juillard, and Boris Kushnir at The University of Music in Vienna.

At the age of 18, Znaider won his first award at the Carl Nielsen International Violin Competition and in 1997 he received the most respected prize of the violin world: The First Prize in the Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels. Nikolaj Znaider plays around 100 concerts a year with several recognised orchestras all over the world.
