BODIL UDSEN
Actress Bodil Udsen is one of Denmark's most prominent artists. With her great dramatic talent, Bodil Utzon has embraced almost all genres from theatre to film and TV.

She has appeared in the lead roles as Medea and Martha in plays by Virginia Woolf and Gertrude Stein, as Grevinde Danner (Countess Danner) in "Dronning blå" and Maria Callas in "Masterclass", yet her versatile talent has also brought her to cabaret and revue stages.

One of her most acclaimed film performances is the title role as grandmother in "Min Farmors Hus", which earned her a Danish Robert Award. In the 1970s, she became a household name in the TV series "Huset på Christianshavn", where she played the candid barkeeper Emma.
