She is wellknown and very popular for her roles in a number of musicals, amongst others is West Side Story, Fanny, Annie, Guys and Dolls, Song and Dance and Nunsense, and theatrical performances and many Tv-shows. She is 48 years old and got her theatrical education in South Korea and New York (The City College of New York, Performing Arts; New York University; Harvard Drama Institute).
Beyond her artistic skills Mrs. Yoon is known for her great interest and care for children. In a konfucian society with strict family traditions, where adoption is seen as being amoral, she has been a pioneer by adopting a child. She has made herself a proponent for that Korean children is adopted by Koreans instead of they being adopted by foreingners .
