Born 1922, lawyer and politician. Roland Dumas has studied at universities such as the Ecole de Sciences Politiques and the London School of Economics. He has held a number of public offices and was Minister of European Affairs from 1983-84, spokesman for the French government in 1984, Minister of Foreign Relations from 1984-86, and Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1988-93. Roland Dumas has published several books and has nurtured a great interest in Danish culture since his youth.
