Born 1948, musician. Jean Michel Jarre studied classical music at the Conservatoire de musique de Paris. However, he then changed direction and embraced rock and jazz. In the late 1960s, he turned towards more experimental acoustic/ electro music. Jean Michel Jarre has performed at several charitable concerts. In 2002, Jean-Michel Jarre performed in Aalborg with the Danish band Safro Duo, and on 2 April he will perform in Denmark again where is to feature at the grand opening show at the national soccer stadium marking the beginning of the Hans Christian Andersen bicentenary. The show will be televised worldwide where millions of viewers will experience Jean Michel Jarre's musical show.
