Born 1967, designer. Vanessa Bruno is half Danish, half Italian. She started her career as a model but soon focused on fashion design. Vanessa Bruno has an innovative and experimental approach to design as well as fashion shows and draws on inspiration from other art forms, such as film, sketching and photography. Vanessa Bruno's design is available the world over. She opened her first store in Japan and has since opened several stores in Paris and is represented in the famous Parisian department stores Bon Marché and Printemps. In 2004, she launched her own lingerie brand and other new design projects are underway.
