Born 1936. Lars Roar Langslet is one of Norway's most celebrated cultural commentators. He was Minister of Culture and Science from 1981 - 1986 and is known for his books on philosophical, theological, artistic and political subjects. He is also famed for his critically acclaimed biographies on historical personalities.
