The library of the Hans Christian Andersen Museum has many books that the writer presented to friends and acquaintances with his own personal inscription.

From Odense City Museums' web-site you can virtually "open" the bookcases and see the many presentation copies.

It is also possible to read about the persons to whom the books were presented. The persons may also be search in an alphabetical listing.
