Macedonia joins the commemorations of HCA Macedonia is joining the celebration of the bicentenary of Danish author Hans Christian Andersen with a music and stage happening on 2 and 3 April. By tkr - H.C. Andersen 2005 - 29 March 2005 The celebration is organized in collaboration with the Royal Danish Consulate General in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia and will take place at the Magnolia Square in Bitola on 2 April and the Makedonija Square in Skopje on 3 April. The celebration will go under the title "My Life is a Fairytale" and it is conceived as a compilation of Andersen's famous fairy tales. The Royal Danish Consulate General has also announced a Hans Christian Andersen writing competition for childrens books, which expires on 1 June.  Back |
