The publication "Anderseniana" has reached the Internet at the website of Odense City Museums. "Anderseniana" is a publication reporting recent research into Hans Christian Andersen's life and works. It has also occasionally contained previously unpublished works of Hans Christian Andersen.

"Anderseniana" was first published in 1933 in a collaboration between the Hans Christian Andersen Museum, which edited, and the "Hans Christian Andersen Association," which was responsible for issuing the publication. Since then, it has been an annually recurring phenomenon and, in 1955, the Hans Christian Andersen Museum also took over actual publication of "Anderseniana," which functioned as the museum yearbook from then on.

At the link below, you may read a number of articles from Anderseniana 2001. Among other things, you may learn about Hans Christian Andersen's dyslexia and language deficiencies, his much-discussed inability to read notes, and his fascination with prostitution.

Later, the site will be updated and expanded on a running basis to contain past as well as future editions of the publication.
