  Face to Face with Andersen  02 April 2005 - 30 April 2005 , Exhibition (including permanent) Denmark - Copenhagen Golden Days in Copenhagen: portraits in Copenhagen. The exhibition features 50 Hans Christian Andersen portraits in Copenhagen conveying the story of Andersen?s different homes and his colourful circle of friends as well as tracing his footsteps through the city. The portraits will be on display in the open ? on streets, public squares and on buildings ? and offer insight not only into the life of Hans Christian Andersen but into the Copenhagen of his day. Fabric banners and signs are to highlight the historical interest of each venue. Audio information will be available to cell-phone users and audio guides will be available too. Additional information will be available on the Internet, and after-work events will be featured every week on location from 2 April ? 31 October where guides or a celebrated person will introduce a phenomenon or personality related to the place and to Hans Christian Andersen.
