Charlotte Mechiors Picture Book on the internet The Hans Christian Andersen Museum/Odense City Museums has now published Hans Christian Andersen's picture book for Little Charlotte Melchior. By Ane Grum-Schwensen - Hans Christian Andersen Museum - 30 April 2004 It is now possible to have a look at the last of Hans Christian Andersen's picture books. It was made in 1874, the year before the poet died. The picture book was made for the then 3-year old Charlotte, who was the daugter of Israel B.
