In collaboration with the refuse removal company R98 and painter Jeppe Eisner, the students of Frederiks School in the Copenhagen suburb of Frederiksberg have decorated strips of canvas and garbage containers with motifs from Hans Christian Andersen's life and fairy tales.

However, the project is nothing more than a dress rehearsal for an even larger project that will be launched in 2004, writes the newspaper Frederiksberg Bladet.

The A.P. Møller shipping company will make three large containers available to being decorated by the imaginative brush strokes of the students. In addition, a number of workshops of various kinds will take place in the containers themselves.

During 2005, the three containers will go on tour around the world - coordinated and paid by A.P. Møller.
