Singer and actress Gitte Hænning was born in 1946 and has performed on stages since her first record in 1954. This record featured the duet "Giftes med farmand" with her father Otto Hænning. Gitte Hænning was a famous child- and teenage star in Scandinavia, and since the 50's she has had successful carrier in Denmark and Germany as a "schlager"-, jazz- and musical singer. Gitte Hænning had her acting debut in the movie "Den kloge mand" in 1956. Since then she has been part of several films in Denmark and Germany, and has participated in more than 100 tv-shows and -series.
