The Nordic Library Week in Lithuania is organised by Foreningen Norden. The Nordic Library Week takes place every year in November, and every year it has various topics. The topic of the Nordic Library Week 2004 is- Once upon the time- and is dedicated to Hans Christian Andersen. The aim of the project is to unite people in the experience of reading Andersen. The event takes place on 8 November and will be open to children at 10 am and for adults at 6 pm. The Nordic Library Week 2004 is to be seen as a prelude to the Andersen bicentenary in 2005.  Back |
